Happy Monday, lovely friends!
I don’t know about you guys, but I’m so ready for Thanksgiving! David and I have a ton of reasons to be thankful and excited for this year. To start, this is our very first Thanksgiving at our new house! Just this November we celebrated our first anniversary. Most of our walls and rooms are still sort of empty however. We’ve definitely made great progress in our living room and dining area. We’re moving super slow guys, but our house is definitely coming along nicely.
Holidays are never the same without family and delicious food, right? David’s family is coming over and we’re so excited as it’s also going to be our first year as the hosts! David are I love to cook and so we’ve prepared a delicious menu that includes Cornish Hens, garlic mashed potatoes, green beans, a cranberry salad, sweet potatoes, your traditional stuffing and, an amazing apple pie cake. We have it all ready to go! It’s going to be so fun!
No menu is ever complete without a fabulous drink at the Canter home. I’m sure that I’m not alone when I say that my go to drink is wine. I mean really, you can never go wrong with a classic glass (or 2) of wine, right? While I love wine as much as the girl next door, I can also tell you that when it comes to quality and taste, I’m extremely picky. It has to be just right, you know? I’m excited to share that such wine exists, you guys! If you haven’t tried them already, I highly recommend Windsor Vineyards wine collection, it’s amazing! I tried their fabulous Chenin Blanc California and it was perfect! It wasn’t too dry nor too sweet. I can’t wait for the rest of the family to try it, I’m sure it’s going to be a hit!
